Asset Type
Intro
Before begining the create new asset type process, Planner need to know that there are 2 methods of inserting a new asset type:
- First, inserting them manually by clicking on the
+ CREATEbutton. - Second, insert it using the Import Excel function by clicking the
IMPORT EXCELbutton.
To do the manual process Planner can see this instruction below.
If by any chance Planer want to enter it by using the IMPORT EXCEL function, Planner needs to follow the instruction that are available using this link --> Import Pre-Made Data.
Add/Create New Asset Type
1. Go To Asset Type Page

- Planner can go to the
Asset Typepage by clicking theSubsystembutton located under the ``Assets`' menu. - Once on the
Asset Typepage, Planner can then click theCREATEbutton to open theCreatepanel.
2. Create New Asset Type

- Planner choose any system that available on the dropdown list. thsi...
- Planner input a name for the new
Asset Type. - input a code which represent the name of the new
Asset Type. - Planner can put a short description for the new
Asset Type. - Don't forget to turn the switch to on, so the new
Asset Typewill be Active when Super Admin or Planner want to create a newAssetlater on. - After checking all data inputed, Planner can click on the
SAVEbutton to show save the newAsset Typethat was created.
3. Create New Asset Finished

- The
Create New Asset Typeprocess finish, marked with the notification Planner got, which isData asset type created!. - Planner also need to make sure the list alre updated with the item Planner had created.
Edit Existing Asset Type
1. Choose Asset Type That Need to Edit

- Planner choose on what
Asset Typeneeds to be edited. - After clicking on the
Three-Dotaction menu Planner then can click on theEditaction menu.
2. Choose What Field Need to Edit

- Planner can edit the
Asset Typewhere it needed. - Planner can edit the
Asset Typewhere it needed. - Planner can edit the
Asset Typewhere it needed. - If Planner already make sure that the data inputed correctly, Planner can click on the
Savebutton.
a. Deactivate Asset Type
- Planner can flick the
Statusswitch to off, if Planner want to deactivate theAsset Type.- Planner then can click on the
SAVEbutton to saving theAsset Typeon anInactivestatus.b. Asset Type Deactivated
- After Planner deactivate the
Asset Type, a notification will come out, which isData equipment [number] updated!, it means theEditprocess are saved successfully.- To make sure even more, Planner can check on the
Statuscolumn of the whichAsset Typeto see if it is on anInactivestate.
3. Confirm Edit

- After Planner click the
SAVEbutton, a notification will came out which isData equipment [number] updated!. - To make sure even more, Planner can check on the list of the
Asset Typeif the edited part are updated on the list or not.
Delete Existing Asset Types
1. Choose Asset Type That Need to Delete

- Planner choose on what
Asset Typeneeds to be delete. - After clicking on the
Three-Dotaction button Planner then can click on theDeleteaction menu.
2. Delete Asset Type

- After clicking on the
Deletebutton, a confirmation popup will be shown. Planner can chooseDELETEbutton to confirming it.
3. Confirm the Deleteion of Asset Type

- Planner will got a notification
Data equipment type [name] deleted!. - Planner can check on the list, if the deleted part still on the list or not.
