Asset Type

Intro

Before begining the create new asset typey process, Super Admin need to know that there are 2 methods of inserting a new asset type:

  1. First, inserting them manually by clicking on the + CREATE button.
  2. Second, insert it using the Import Excel function by clicking the IMPORT EXCEL button.

To do the manual process Super Admin can see this instruction below.
If by any chance Super Admin want to enter it by using the IMPORT EXCEL function, Super Admin needs to follow the instruction that are available using this link --> Import Pre-Made Data.

Add/Create New Asset Type

1. Go To Asset Type Page

  1. can go to the Asset Type page by clicking the Asset Type menu button located under the Subsystem menu.
  2. After being on the Asset Type page, Super Admin can click the CREATE button to open the Create panel.

2. Create New Asset Type

  1. Super Admin choose any system that available on the dropdown list.
  2. Super Admin input a name for the new Asset Type.
  3. Super Admin input a code which represent the name of the new Asset Type.
  4. Super Admin can put a short description for the new Asset Type.
  5. Don't forget to turn the switch to on, so the new Asset Type will be Active when Super Admin or Planner want to create a new Asset later on.
  6. After checking all data inputed, Super Admin can click on the SAVE button to show save the new Asset Type that was created.

3. Create New Asset Type Finishedc

  1. The Create New Asset Type process finsh, marked with the notification Super Admin got, which is Data Asset Type created!.
  2. Super Admin also need to make sure the list are updated with the item Super Admin had created.

Edit Existing Asset Type

1. Choose Asset Type That Need to Edit

  1. Super Admin choose on what Asset Type needs to be edited.
  2. After clicking on the Three-Dot action menu Super Admin then can click on the Edit action menu.

2. Choose What Field Need to Edit

  1. Super Admin casn edit the Asset Type where it needed.
  2. Super Admin casn edit the Asset Type where it needed.
  3. Super Admin casn edit the Asset Type where it needed.
  4. If Super Admin already make sure that the data inputed correctly, Super Admin can click on the Save button.

Extra:

a. Deactivate Asset Type

  1. Super Admin can flick the Status switch to off, if Super Admin want to deactivate the Asset Type.
  2. Super Admin then can click on the SAVE button to saving the Asset Type on an Inactive status.

b. Asset Type Deactivated

  1. After Super Admin deactivate the Asset Type, a notification will come out, which is Data equipment [number] updated!, it means the Edit process are saved successfully.
  2. To make sure even more, Super Admin can check on the Status column of the which Asset Type to see if it is on an Inactive state.

3. Confirm Edit

  1. After Super Admin click the SAVE button, a notification will came out which is Data equipment [number] updated!.
  2. To make sure even more, Super Admin can check on the list of the Asset Type if the edited part are updated on the list or not.

Delete Existing Asset Type

1. Choose Asset Type That Need to Delete

  1. Super Admin choose on what Asset Type needs to be delete.
  2. After clicking on the Three-Dot action button Super Admin then can click on the Delete action menu.

2. Delete Asset Type

  1. After clicking on the Delete button, a confirmation popup will be shown. Super Admin can choose DELETE button to confirming it.

3. Confirm the Deleteion of Asset Type

  1. Super Admin will got a notification Data equipment type [name] deleted!.
  2. Super Admin can check on the list, if the deleted part still on the list or not.
